This is the page that I never wanted to have to make. This page, I dedicate to the greatest horse that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. IMA BUCKY BADGER Those of you that have known me for a long time, also know this great horse. For years we were at all the open and 4-H shows, doing great and usually winning. We made a lot of enemies, just because we were good and a lot of judges liked us. I have never had a horse with as much heart as Buck had. I am thankful that he was in my life, I miss him like I never thought I could miss anything! That is why he has the first name in my farm name! He always came first and was the best! Buck passed away on April 6, 2005. We found him lying in his paddock on the most beautiful spring day! Atleast, it was beautiful until we found him. The really good friend to me, Tim, and his father, did me the biggest favor that anyone could ever have hoped for. Tim took care of Buck and buried him for me! So the most important male in my life, Buck was laid to rest in a great big grass field! He has a beautiful view, as long as he doesn't mind the occasional airplane taking off and landing. See, when I found Buck, I was so lost. I had him in my life since I was 13, September 7, 1985, to be exact! There has never been anyone in my life, with the exception of my family that has been there for me, like he was. Those of you that had the pleasure to know him, understand what I am saying. I remember all the times that we had together, showing, trail riding and just playing. There will never be a horse as great as he was. I have a lot of great horses now, but none of them are Buck! The horse that was born, raised and lived his life in the great state of Wisconsin! Heck he was even named after our state animal! He did the name, state and me very proud! I will miss you for the rest of my life! Ima Bucky Badger April 16, 1981 to April 6, 2005 |
