Mission Statement

The goal of PAVE is to promote awareness to the general public, especially to young women and men, about sexual and gender violence. We want to empower citizens to get involved in the fight opposing violence against women. 1 in 3 women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime*. This is a prevalent problem in our society that is still sadly a taboo subject. Statistics show that 9 out of 10 women in college who are raped don't report the crime*. We want to help victims so that they will feel more comfortable and confident in reporting the crime. PAVE was designed to provide a support network for men and women who have been affected by sexual violence of all natures. This group is not limited to women, educating men is of equal importance. The intent of PAVE is not to point the finger of blame, but to understand the reasons why sex crimes exists and brainstorm various ways to combat them. Please help us contribute to a revolution in the minds of the public about a misunderstood crime that has plagued our society for years. SPEAK OUT!!
