The marriage between Clarinda & Jesse Hampton is of great importance because this makes William And Levisa the Grand Parents of Genoa (Nola) Hampton. Genoa (Nola) Hampton was also the Great Granddaughter of Silas and Anna Ratliff. As you will see later in Chapter 4 Nola or (Genoa) married Harvey Ratliff who was the son of James Ratliff.
