Mrs Annie Howard, 83, died at her home here Tuesday (10-1-1957)
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Lula Bishop, Mrs. Charlie (Nellie)Howard, both of Riner; Mrs. John (Clydie) Jewell, Roanoke; Mrs Lawrence (Ollie) Gruver, Overbrook, Kansas; Mrs Clyde (Bessie) Gruver, Ottawa, Kan.; two sons; Ballard Jewell, Riner and Frank Jewell, Check; four stepsons, Hugh Howard, Check; Jim Howard, Cambria; Ballard Howard, Martiansville; Robert Howard of West Virginia; two step-daughters, Mrs. Woot Howard of West Virginia; Mrs Wilton (Pearl) Cunningham, Pilot; a Sister Mrs. Lizzie Altizer, Riner.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 pm at Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will bein the (Howard) Family Cemetery near Riner
