This bibliography of genealogies and family histories contains over 800 titles about Maryland families and over 200 titles about Delaware families. In addition to Maryland and/or Delaware, many of these families had ties to other states as well. The book is divided into two sections, Maryland and Delaware. Within each section, books are listed alphabetically by surname; allied family names which are included in the titles can be found in the cross-reference index. Christiana Methodist Episcopal Church: Its History�Its People - Compiled and edited by Barbara Bryant White, Church Historian. Hundreds of people are identified in a given place at a given time, along with information such as some deaths other than those buried in the church cemetery, movements into or out of the area, some occupations, marriages, baptisms, a full cemetery census done in 1993, circuit ministers (1811-1994), and a few local businesses mentioned. People not active in this church but prominent in this community, such as postmasters and innkeepers, are mentioned in a background overview of historic Christiana village, once a thriving river port on a tributary of the Delaware River.
