FAMILY-DAYCARE LIST GUIDELINES

This list is for seasoned family daycare/child care providers, new to the provider business or those considering opening a daycare in their home. The goal of this forum is to share ideas about family daycare. Such topics include steps for getting started, appropriate activities, daily schedules, marketing, assistance with touchy situations that occur in your business, etc.

In order to maintain a professional tone on this forum the following guidelines should be followed:

1. Messages should be related to family daycare issues. OFF TOPIC messages will be sent privately, such as:
*Friendship building messages ("Oh, I live really close to you.")
*Politics
*Religious testimonies or prayer requests
*Off topic notes (I know this is off topic, but....)
SEND NO ATTACHMENTS!!!!!

2. Do NOT advertise your business here!!!!!!!!! If you own a business that is child care related and you feel sharing this information would benefit the members of the List, please contact me with the information at: .

3. When replying to a previous post, please EDIT your responses so that readers can scan posts in a timely matter. Remember, we are all busy professionals.

4. Messages offering personal sentiments only, WILL be sent privately. WE are all professionals and time is essential to us all, so please only send posts with information or questions.

5. Flaming is inappropriate on this LIST. It is acceptable to agree or disagree politely. However, nasty or personal remarks are unacceptable, and considered flaming. (Flaming-An intentional remark made directly, by cutting & pasting or by quoting a comment that; offends, hurts, angers, provokes, insults, or otherwise disrupts the friendly nature of this forum.)
5a. 6. I reserve the right to remove individuals from this List WITH or WITHOUT cause. If your postings are disruptive to the forum, OR violate the guidelines listed, you WILL be removed.
