Now my youngest (23) got married and chose my abusive x (not even her father) to be at the ceremony knowing I couldn't handle being around him. The Food For Thought was so special to me as when I was 19 years old I became pregnant as a result of date rape. I had to make a choice between abortion, which my family wanted me to do, and giving birth. I chose giving birth and giving my child up for doption. After 35 years I was able to locate this child and am pleased that when I told him what choices I had, that I chose adoption, his one word made it worth the 35 years I had wondered where he was and what he had done with his life. That was a wonderful story about the man and his wife. I have been blessed with a mircle too. When my son was 9 days old, He got really sick. They had to give him to spinal taps, to see if the infection had gone to his brain. At that time it hadn't. But h s blood was going bad. Janet from the chuch I was going to wanted to go to the hospital and pray for him. We prayed at church and went to the hospital. I held my son and she layed her hand on my head and we prayed. Right after that the Drs. put Michael in intency care. But I told the Drs. that my son was well and that God heal him. Three days later Michael came home from the hospital. The Drs. just couldn't understand. Michael is 21 years old now.

your page is just wonderful..i especially like the one of the mother with a young infant and expecting another...my two youngest are very close in age and when i found out i was pregnant i didn't know what i was gonna do...it was a big suprise...i had my ubes tied after my fourth child and as i said ended up pregnant again...shocked of course...on welfare...and didn't know how i was going to feed #5..but i kept praying and asking the Lord to show me why...well...my father in law passed away a week before he baby came...i am so glad that i was blessed with my fifth baby now...God showed me why..my baby is a boy and named after his pappap..
