MARRIAGE CONTRACT
BETWEEN PIERRE MICHEL AND MARIE ANCELIN

(thus finishes this contract without signature)

This marriage act of 1667, unfinished and not signed, was not valid and it became necessary to Pierre Micheau to correct the situation, what he made later.  Indeed, in an agreement between "Pierre Michau and Marie Ancelin, from Camouraska, their children and son-in-law", registered in the records of notary Louis Chambalon on October 16, 1701, it is indicated that the survivor of the two will enjoy by common rights, the goods of the community, without their children having the right to demand the property of the survivor, and that the children, married or unmarried, will have the same as those who are in community.  If the survivor marries again, the agreement will be null and void.
