Here's a few tips to help you take better pictures, everytime. We all have gotten the roll of film back from the party or zoo, with that classic photo we took, that we just couldn't wait to see. And we are disappointed by the quality, maybe the field is blurry, or the subject's head is cut off. Hopefully when you're done here, you'll have some ideas to take better pictures. A good camera helps too.
| Know Your Subject |
Ask yourself "What do I want to be the subject of this picture?"
Don't let anything else compete with your subject.
Your photo should be about your subject only - nothing else.
When someone else looks at your picture, they should know that the dog was the subject of the photo. |

| Draw Attention to Your Subject |
Fill the frame!
When looking through the viewfinder ask yourself: "Does the image I see draw attention to my subject?"
Also ask yourself: "Do I see anything in the frame that night distract the eye of the viewer from my subject?"
