I did not know about the different families of Morgans. I find it very interesting. Hopefully one day I will be able to help spread the Lambert name with my own breeding program!

What an awesome trip through history - I feel like I have taken a step back through time. I have a Criterion grandson and he is the best guy in the world to work with! He is chestnut with the same color mane and tail. (Unfortunately, he didn't inherit t e lovely "blond" mane & tail!) It was really neat to see so many photos of his direct descendants and how much alike, they all are. I'm glad I stumbled on your website - I'll visit often.

Eve Oakley I met back in l980's along with my daughter through a friend of ours, Natalie Goode, from Small Towne Morgans in CA. And meeting Eve was a wonderful experience for us all!! She had sent me many letters on her hows and whys of breeding her Lambert Morgans. She had taught me so much!! How she loved her stallion, Cavindish!! I have many of her lette s, handwitten pedigrees and her special photos of the horses she has bred and loved. If I can be of any service to the great breed of horses that we love--The MORGAN HORSE. Then please contact me at [email protected]

Enjoyed reading about the Lambert Morgans. It's great that people are trying to keep the original lines intact. I just started riding again after many years, but never forgot my first horse, who was 1/2 Morgan. When (if?) I ever am fortunate enough to uy a horse again, a Morgan would be my first choice.

Please email me and direct me as to where to go to read up on the Lambert lines. I am a first-time Morgan owner and am looking for a stallion to breed my mare to. I want to have ALLthe information on Morgans before choosing, so I'd appreciate anything you could share with me. Thank you. -Marcia Reiff

Just like to say how much I enjoyed your website. I am a senior citizen whose hobby is horses. My first loves are Arabians and Morgans but I like the the other breeds as well. I have many folders of foundation sires of all breeds. I have been collectin for 50 years. I have folders of Lippitt Morgans, Lambert Morgans, Headlight Morgan, Flyhawk, General Gates, etc. Have photos from old Western Horseman magazines, as well as articles to the 70s. Would be interested to hear from anyone that would like to talk horses. When they have the time. I am at my computer everyday. One project is to type in the Morgan horses registered from 3000 to 9000. It may never be done. Thanks for the time. Sincere y, Dolores J. Adkins

Very nice web site. I am a Morgan breeder of 38 years. Our breed needs to keep the original history of Justin Morgan and his sons in mind in order to keep the breed charactoristics in mind when breeding. I had the honor of knowing Eve Oakley and her horses when I was a child and I love the older type Morgans. My prefix is Valley Oak Morgans Est. in 1977. Keep up the good work in history of Morgan blood lines.

I think the page is great. I wish I had your tallent to design pages, I'd love to learn how. Anyway, all your links are great, and so are the pictures. I especially like the one on this page that runs through all the historical Lamberts. Thanks so much for the time you put into this web site for people to appreciate the Lambert Morgans.
