William M. Bastin
Tommie Bastin's son, William M. Bastin, also served in the Federal Army, and was injured during the War. Details are only now being found on his war records, and more information should be available from the National Archives soon. William M. Bastin also lived in Metcalfe County, KY. William's son, James Thomas 'Tom' Bastin moved to near Seymour, KY in
Hart County, KY, where he ran a grain-mill that ground corn into corn meal and wheat into flour. His son, James Cordis Bastin, who married Ilene Dawson Waddell, also worked in the mill and lived at Seymour, KY when his children were born, including my father, James Glen Bastin.
