MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Toasty Hot-Dog Rollups Categories: Main dish, Kids Yield: 8 servings 1 x -CYGNUS, HCPM52C 2 c Water 8 ea Frankfurters 1/2 c Butter or margarine 8 ea Slices white bread 2 ts Prepared mustard 4 ea Slices American cheese 1 x Catsup 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Heat water to boiling in medium saucepan over medium heat. Carefully drop a frankfurter into the water. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer over low hat 5 to 8 minutes. 3. Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. 4. Place 8 slices bread on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush the top sides of the slices with about half of the melted butter. Spread with 2 teaspoon mustard about 1/4 t for each slice). 5. Cut 4 slices cheese diagionally in half so you have 8 cheese triangles. Top each bread slice with 1 sheese triangle. 6. Place 1 frankfurter on top of each cheese slice with tongs. 7. Fold the bread over to make a triangle shape. Fasten with 2 wooden picks, 1 on each side, poking throuh the bread & frankfurter. Spread the remaining butter on the outside of each bread triangle. 8 Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with catsup.
