MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Hungarian Goulash Categories: Dam, Main dish Yield: 4 Servings 1 lb Cubed lean beef 1 c Onions, thinly sliced 2 cl Garlic, crushed 1 1/2 tb Paprika 2 c Canned tomatoes 1/2 c Tomato sauce (4 oz) Papper, coarsely ground 1/2 ts Sugar 1/4 c Sour cream 2 c Noodles, cooked & drained Parsley, chopped (optional) 1) In medium non-stick saucepan, brown beef on all sides. Remove beef and set aside. 2) In same saucepan, saute onions and garlic, stirring until onions are translucent. 3) Return beef to pan and add paprika, tomatoes, tomato sauce, pepper, and sugar. 4) Cover and simmer over lowest heat 1 hour. 5) Remove cover and simmer 15 minutes longer. 6) Stir in sour cream and serve over noodles. 7) Garnish with parsley, if desired.
