MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Presto Pizza-DAM Categories: Low-cal, Main dish, Vegetarian, Pizza Yield: 3 servings MMMMM---------------------DEAL-A-MEAL RECIPE-------------------------- MMMMM---------------------------CRUST:-------------------------------- 1 c Sifted all-purpose flour 1 ts Baking powder 1/4 ts Dried oregano 1 tb Butter OR margarine 3 To 5 tablespoon water MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING:------------------------------- 1/4 c Prepared spaghetti sauce 2 c Thinly sliced vegetables; Such as onion, tomatoes, Mushrooms, green pepper 1/2 ts Dried oregano 3 oz Shredded lowfat mozzarella MMMMM------------------------SERVE WITH:----------------------------- Lettuce salad 2 tb Lo-cal dressing 1) Pre-heat oven to 400degrees. 2) For crust, in bowl, combine flour, baking powder and oregano. 3) With fingertips, work in butter until mixture resembles coarse oatmeal. 4) Stir quickly with a fork, while slowly pouring in enough water to make soft dough. 5) On a lightly floured board, knead dough about 8 times. 6) Roll dough to fit a 10-inch pie or pizza pan. Press dough into pan. 7) Spread with spaghetti sauce. 8) Arrange vegetables over crust. Sprinkle with oregano and cheese. 9) Bake 30 minutes. 10) Serve with Freebie salad/dressing and black coffee or tea.
