| Johan Hansen Heyer and Marte Olsd had five children. Johan was born in 1820 in Jevnaker, Oppland Norway and Marte was born in 1821 in Gran, Oppland, Norway. They lived in the Hadeland area of Norway. The parents did not emigrate to the USA. Their children Ole Johansen Carlsrud, Mari Johansd Carlsrud Halbakken, Hans Baanna and Johan Kjorven did emigrate to the USA and settled near Rothsay, MN. Johan later settled near Fosston, MN. Their second daughter Fredrikke died at age 1 in Norway. Pictured above is Ole Johansen Carlsrud and his wife Ellen Rasmussen. Ole was the eldest son of Johan and Marit.
