Sarah Jane, the nine year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hardesty, of near Branch,
died about five o'clock Saturday evening after a two weeks illness from diphtheria.
Owing to the nature of the disease to which the child succombed, the funeral will be
private.  The arrangements had not been completed at a late hour last night.

The child is survived by the parents and six brothers and sisters. They are Alfred,
Opal, William, Telford, Letha and Vesta all of the home.

NOTE: Sarah Jane was born January 18, 1908.
She is buried in Branch Methodist Church Cemetery, Coshocton County, Ohio.
