                           Oatmeal Lace Cookies

     1/2  cup           melted butter
   2 1/2  cups          rolled oats
   1      cup           brown sugar
   2      teaspoons     baking powder
   1      egg           beaten

Melt butter, add to dry ingredients. Add egg, mix well. Drop from spoon 1" apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 mins at 350. Let stand 1 minute, remove from pan. Makes about 6 dozen
