                           BARBECUE PARTY BEANS

   1       lb           Bacon, in 1/3 slices
   1       lg           Onion, chopped
   5                    #1 cans of pork and beans
     1/4   c            Prepared mustard
     1/4   c            Worcestershire sauce
   1                    Bottle catsup
     1/2   c            Molasses
     1/2   c            Sweet pickle relish
   2 1/4   c            Packed brown sugar
   2       ts           Liquid smoke

  Fry bacon in a 4-6 quart pot until crisp.  Add onions
  and saute until clear.  Add beans and stir.  Then add
  rest of the ingredients. Stir well and lower heat to
  simmer. Let simmer uncovered until cooked down to
  consistency desired.  (2 hours or more) Serves 20.
