                         SWEET POTATO CUSTARD PIE

   1       c            Cooked, mashed sweet
                        -potatoes
     1/4   c            Butter or margarine,
                        -softened
   3                    Eggs, separated
     3/4   c            Sugar
   1 1/2   c            Milk
   1       t            Vanilla extract
     1/2   ts           Ground cinnamon
     1/2   ts           Ground nutmeg
   1                    Unbaked 10 inch pastry
                        -shell

  Combine potatoes and butter, stir well. Add next 6
  ingredients, mixing well. Pour into pastry shell, and
  bake at 350^F for 50 minutes or until set.
