This is the Hoffman tree. They originated from Germany. The furthest back we can go is 1840's. They came to the United States around 1870 and settled in the Madison County, Illinois area. They then moved to Missouri and then settled in the Stafford County, Kansas area. There are a lot of blanks as you can tell, so any information or help you think you could offer would be appreciated.
