2. MOSES2 SIMMONS (MOSES1) was born Abt 1605 in prob. England, and died June 17, 1689 in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA. He married SARAH CHANDLER 1637, daughter of Roger Chandler and Isabel Chilton.
Notes: "Moses Simmons" was a passenger on the ship Fortune. It arrived at Plymouth on November 9, 1621, just a few weeks after the first Thanksgiving. The passenger list is based on the 1623 Division of Land. It was compiled by Charles Edward Banks in Planters of the Commonwealth, and by the information found in Eugene Aubrey Stratton's "Plymouth Colony: Its History and Its People, 1620-1691. It does not state the age of Moses, but likely the 16 year old versus his father-- wives and children would have been listed but are absent for this Moses.
