Why all the commotion regarding rock music? What's the big deal anyway?
The big deal is that rock music is destroying the lives of millions of teenagers every year. Many are committing suicide, murder, rape, overdosing on drugs, and an endless list of other things. Why is this happening? Isn't rock music harmless?
Parents and teenagers, it's time to wake up! Rock music is not harmless, it's demonic and it's straight from the pit of hell! Somebody has to stand up for righteousness and declare the truth, so here I go.
Parents, have you ever taken the time to listen to the rock music that your teenager is listening to? Have you ever picked up one of their rock music cassette tapes and read the words that are written on the inside of the album cover? Sad to say, many parents (not all), don't even care what their kids are listening to. They could care less what their teenagers are doing. They're not concerned about their future. They're not concerned with their souls or what's going to happen to them regarding their eternal destiny. Many parents don't even care about themselves.
I understand that some parents are a real blessing to their children. They "do" care and they "do" take the time to check out what's going on in the lives of their children. Praise God for those who care. But what about those who don't care?
Many of the rock music groups today are demonic. In fact, they are so demonic that it's really hard to believe what is happening in and to our society. We are allowing demonic rock music to take possession of the hearts and minds of our children and teenagers and nobody even realizes what's actually going on. We're not talking about listening to "twinkle twinkle little star."
Here are a few lyrics from some of the rock music songs being listened to by our kids. This is not meant to offend, this is meant to be an eye opener to those who are not aware of what the rock music today is saying to our youth.

Black Sabbath is another group that has very explicit songs filled with profanity and sexual inuendos. I could go on and on, but some of the words are too explicit for this page.
It's filth, and many teenagers and CHILDREN are listening to these words. What you hear stays with you, friend! Garbage in - garbage out! This music is polluting our children. I have been amazed at how many "CHRISTIAN" young people are listening to this music. There's something wrong with this picture!
Many of these lyrics degrade the name of Jesus and put Christianity down.
The song above says, "god is dead." GOD IS NOT DEAD! HE'S VERY MUCH ALIVE AND WELL! The devil wants to bombard the minds of our youth. He wants to turn them away from Christianity, so he uses music to do it. Music is a very powerful tool in the hands of the enemy.
In 1997 there was an album out called, "Smells Like Children." This album specifically targeted children. It talked about abuse, incest, and rape of little children. It was so demonic that if you would sit down and listen to that tape for about six hours, there would probably be a real battle going on inside of you. Those words become embedded in your mind until that's all you think about. This kind of music is not coming down from the Father of lights, it's coming straight from the pit of hell! It's time to wake up parents. It's time to wake up teenagers. The devil is out to kill, steal and destroy!
The covers, on most of these albums, really speak for themselves. Most of these rock musicians are possessed by demons. The demons speak through them and sing through them. When our children and teenagers listen to this music, they are opening themselves up for demonic control and possession. It's not a game that we're playing here. We are talking about the life and death of our children. Are we just going to sit back and watch them give their lives over to the devil or are we going to do something about it? I pray this article will begin to stir you up on the inside with Holy Ghost boldness! I pray that God will spark a fire in your heart and soul that will cause you to get on your face before God and intercede for the youth in America!
Many parents don't have any idea what's going on in the lives of their teenagers. They don't have a clue. If they did, they would do something about it. Many have not paid any attention to their teenagers and now their teenagers are uncontrollable. The teenagers rule the home instead of the parents. They are violent, full of anger and hatred, and possessed with demons. There's no hope for them now unless somebody gets them to Jesus.
Why is America going downhill? There are many reasons why America is going downhill and I believe one of the reasons is because we've turned our back on God and the things of God. We've allowed the devil to run freely with his agenda, instead of allowing God to have His way in this wonderful nation. I'm telling people, I love this nation. It's the best nation in the whole wide world, as far as I'm concerned. But it's time for Christians to stand up for righteousness and declare war on the devil! It's time for us to be an influence on this world instead of the world being an influence on us!
I've often wondered if there's hope for people like Marilyn Manson and others who are so deep in the realm of the demonic and satanism. Marilyn Manson is one of the most demonic people I have ever seen in my life. This man has totally given himself over to the devil. The youth in America love him. He packs out auditoriums! I'm telling you parents, it's time to wake up before it's too late. It's time to stand up for righteousness in your homes! If you don't do something about it now, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.
It's time for parents to rise up in the God given authority that God has placed upon your lives. Don't allow your children to rule you, you are to rule over them (in love). When you truly love someone, you will do whatever it takes to help them. If you truly love your children, you will do whatever it takes to save them from destruction.
I believe it's time that we had a rock music burning contest!
In Acts 19:18-19, we see the new born Christians bringing their magic garbage to the Apostles so they could burn all those items in the fire. I believe it's time to burn all the rock music tapes, posters, pornography and everything else that's affiliated with it. Let's get it out of our homes!!!! Let's get it out of the lives of our children! Let's burn it and command the devil to loose his hold on our children, in the Name of Jesus. It's time that we get violent against the wiles of the devil! It's time to take back what the enemy has stolen from us! Take back your children! Take back your teenagers! Take back what's rightly yours!
I can remember when I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I had hundreds of dollars worth of rock music tapes. The Lord began to convict me about it and that conviction didn't go away. I knew I had to do what the Lord was telling me, yet I really didn't want to let go of all those tapes. I thought to myself, "I'll give them away." The Lord spoke to me and said, "Don't give them away. You don't want anyone else to become addicted to this trash. Burn them." So, I was obedient to the Lord. I took all my albums, tapes, pornography etc. to the trash barrel and lit the match. I asked Jesus to forgive me for listening to rock music. I asked Him to set me free from all the effects of it in my life. When the fire died down, I walked away from the trash barrel with a feeling of victory in my soul. I knew I had done the right thing and God blessed me for it. My life has never been the same. You talk about joy unspeakable and full of glory! I've been set free from those rock music demons and I will NEVER go back to that trash! NEVER! I've found something better! I've found Jesus Christ! He has set me free! He has given me life! I never knew what it meant to be satisfied and happy until I gave my life to Jesus.
You need Jesus, friend. You need to give your life to Jesus and ask Him to set you free from all the demonic rock music that you've been listening to. Get rid of all those music tapes, posters and everything else that's of a demonic nature. Don't give them away, burn them. When you do, you will notice a drastic change in your heart and life. You will never be the same. You'll be free!!!!! It's a wonderful feeling to be free!!!!!
Why don't you give your life away today? Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him. You'll never regret your decision to follow Jesus. There's nothing else that will satisfy your soul. Call upon Him today and watch what He will do for you.
Parents, stand up for what is right in your home. It's time for you to repent. Repent for not spending time with your teenagers. Repent for not caring about what they have been involved in. Jesus will forgive you and you can have a wonderful relationship with your teenagers. The Lord will change your situation, if you will allow Him to. He can cause your teenagers to love you. He can change them. Why don't you call upon the Lord today. He's a prayer answering Jesus. There's no situation that He cannot change. If He could change me, He can change anybody!
