Gal. 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Have you been crucified with Christ? We hear a lot regarding "SELF." We have "self help" seminars and "SELF" magazine, just to name a few.
When we give our lives to Jesus, we no longer belong to ourselves. We belong to the Lord. We're not our own anymore, we have a new owner. Our desires, ours wants, and our wills should be on the altar of sacrifice waiting for His orders. We should be living for Him and not ourselves.
What does He want you to be doing? What is His will for your life? What does He want you to be speaking today?
Our focus should be centered upon Jesus. No more self-centeredness and self-consciousness. We must learn how to be God-conscious. Hallelujah!
If we have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I that lives, but Christ living in me and through me. When we are obedient to do all that He has told us to do, we allow Christ to live and flow through us as an open channel of blessing to others. We show others that we have been crucified with Christ, when we lay our lives down for Him and for others in the body of Christ.
Scripture goes on to say, "The life that I now live I live by faith." Do you live by faith? We are saved by faith. We receive the Holy Ghost by faith. We receive healing by faith. We pray in faith believing that what we pray will come to pass. The Christian life is a life of FAITH. God has given the measure of faith to every man and woman. We need to use the faith that God has given to us. The more we use it, the more He will increase it.
Scripture says, we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. Don't live by what you see. Speak to those things that are not as though they were. Your words have creative power in them. Speak positively regarding your situation and believe God to do whatever is needed in order to bring change. Now, I'm not talking about confessing a big blue cadilac or a one hundred thousand dollar home. I'm talking about confessing what the word of God says. If you're sick, confess what His word says about your sickness. "By His stripes, we are healed." Stand on the word of God. Don't listen to the lies of the devil regarding your circumstances. God will change your circumstances if you will activate your faith. Hallelujah!
Put your faith to work today and allow the Holy Spirit to make Himself more real to you. As you die to yourself, Christ will live and flow through you in a mighty way.
Most of us desire to have the blessings of God upon our lives. Most of us desire to serve Him with our whole heart. Let's put to death those areas that need to be crucified by His Spirit. Let's lay ourselves on the altar of sacrifice and allow the Lord to burn away all that needs to be stripped from our lives. Let's not allow anything or anyone to hinder His plan for our lives. Let's allow the resurrecting power of God to permeate and saturate us so He can live and flow through us like a mighty river.
