MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It's hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. Ready or not, here it comes! Some of you may be even more stressful with all the negative reports of Y2K. Don't allow the Y2K situation to rule your life and Christmas holiday.

The Bible tells us not to fear! Fear is not of God. We don't have to fear Y2K or any other catastrophe that may come upon the earth, because the Lord God is with us no matter what happens. Our God is GREATER than Y2K! Amen!

The Lord God was with the children of Israel in a mighty way when they were walking around in the wilderness for 40 years. The Bible says that He fed them manna from heaven, and gave them water from the rock to quench their thirst. God was faithful when they were faithless. They didn't deserve the blessings of God. They were a disobedient people. Yet, even in their disobedience, God blessed them.

The Lord loves us so much. He desires the best for everyone of us. He has a plan for our lives, and He is more than willing to work with us to cause that plan to come to pass. Are we willing to work with the Lord? There were only two people, out of all those Israelites, that made it to the land of Promise. Only two people were faithful and obedient to His words and direction. Joshua and Caleb were men with a different spirit. They were determined to serve the Lord. They were determined to enter into what God had prepared for them. These made had great faith. Where is your faith today friend? Are you believing God for the impossible situations in your life? Are you believing God to save those children that you've been praying for? Are you believing God to have His hand upon your family during Y2K? Where is your faith today? Is it strong?

If we want to see God move in our lives, we must come up to a higher level of intimacy and relationship with Him. We must learn to be obedient, even when we don't feel like being obedient. God's ways are the best ways. We must place our trust completely in Jesus Christ. We must put Him first in everything that we do. We must strengthen our prayer life and have a greater understanding of who He really is.

The Lord wants to move in your life friend. He's not against you; He is for you. He's on your side. There may be times when you don't feel like He's on your side, but He is. He's standing right beside you. He lives in you. He wants what is best for you. Don't give up on yourself! Don't give up on God. He will see you through every trial and tribulation. He will hold your hand and strengthen you in the process. He's faithful to His people. He will NEVER let you down.

Hold your head up high and look up to the heavens from where your help comes from. Enjoy sweet fellowship with your family and friends this holiday season. Some of you might be saying, "My family is not saved. How can I enjoy my time with them?" Spend time in prayer for your family before you go to be with them. Saturate yourself in God's presence and listen to what He is saying to you. Walk in love towards them. Don't stir things up, just show the love of Jesus to them. When God opens the door for you to talk about Him to them, go through the door with holy boldness. God loves your family more than you do.

God is a prayer answering God, and His desire is to answer prayers for you this holiday season. Will you believe Him? Will you trust Him? Will you walk with Him and talk with Him? If you will, you may be surprised at what might happen.

God bless you!
