Bellflower
(Latin: Campanula)
Bellflowers come in various sizes. If you plant a variety of heights, be sure to plant the larger ones towards the back of your grouping. And after the taller varieties have flowered, it's a good idea to cut them to encourage them to bloom again. With Bellfowers, you also have to watch for slugs.
Height: 2-3 feet (60-100cm)
Blooms: in early summer
Varieties: Canterbury Bell (medium blue colour; Telham Beauty (light blue), Alba (white)
Propagation: Divide or sow seeds in spring and keep soil moist.
Light: Full Sun to Partial Shade
