1. Henry Fahnestock. Born on 22 Apr 1778 in Warrington, York County, Pennsylvania. Henry died in Scott County, Illinois on 5 Sep 1827; he was 49.
On 17 Mar 1801 when Henry was 22, he married Catherine Esther Latshaw, daughter of John Latshaw (1730-20 Apr 1820) & Elizabeth (-Sep 1820). Born on 26 Jun 1781. Catherine Esther died in Scott County, Illinois on 23 Aug 1825; she was 44.
They had the following children:
i. Christiana. Born on 17 Jun 1802.
ii. Julia Ann. Born on 7 Jan 1804 in
near Baltimore. Julia Ann died in Cosby, Andrew County, Missouri
on 15 Nov 1871; she was 67. Buried in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
On 24 Oct 1821 when Julia Ann was 17, she married John Piper,
in Carrolton, Green County, Illinois. Born on 2 Oct 1796. John
died in Cosby, Andrew County, Missouri on 27 Dec 1844; he was
48. Buried in Bethel Church, Andrew County, Missouri.
iii. Jeremiah. Born on 11 May 1806. Son John (pictured)
iv. Mary Ann. Born on 6 Sep 1808. Mary Ann died on 16 Jul 1881;
she was 72.
On 2 Jul 1832 when Mary Ann was 23, she married Duncan McArthur.
v. Benjamine Latshaw. 
Born on 16 Dec 1810. Benjamine Latshaw died on 3 Jan 1888; he was 77. In 1850 when Benjamine Latshaw was 39, he married Mary Frances Fahnestock, daughter of Peter Fahnestock (15 Apr 1784-17 Nov 1864), in Baltimore, Maryland. Born on 25 May 1813 in Baltimore, Maryland. Mary Frances died in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 23 Feb 1897; she was 83.
vi. Catherine M. Born on 29 FEB 1813.
vii. Henry George. Born on 22 Jun 1815. Henry George died in 1902;
he was 86.
George Gerber abstract York County OC-V-352- 2/16/1847 states
Henry married ----- Ringold of Maryland.
They had a sons, Alfred and Ephraim.

viii. Avarilla. Born on 5 Sep 1818. Avarilla died on 9 Oct 1872; she was 54. "Gay R Davis" wrote on 20 Jul 2000 "I do not have it all worked out as yet, but this is what we have in the rough draft of the Wickersham book which will be published by Heritage later this year. Pitman's Fahnestock genealogy has a slightly different list of children. I am actually working on the Wickersham part of this."
