The 9th MSM Cavalry is a new ongoing project and the unit that my great grandfather and his brother served. Many men from Chariton, Linn and Macon counties served in this regiment and I hope to present a partial Regimental Roster soon. Anyone having information on the regiment or ancestors that served with the 9th, I would be very much interested in hearing from you.
ABOUT THE FAMILY TREE
I have taken great care to ensure that this family tree is accurate, but as in everything in genealogy things can change at a moments notice when new information comes to light. All questions concerning accuracy of information or to make corrections should be forwarded to me. New information is always welcome and much appreciated. An area of special interest to me is the McCollum's of Chariton County, Missouri. I would like to hear from anyone having information on this line.
