Obituary of Zachariah Williamson
[Macon Telegraph, November 28, 1826]
DIED, in this county, on the 14th instant, Mr. ZACHARIAH WILLIAMSON, aged seventy-four. He was a soldier through the war of our revolution, and fought in many battles. A worthy and respectable citizen, he enjoyed to a good old age the fruits of his early toils and patriotism, and died in the full faith of future happiness.
