Benjamin Hutto (c1784-c1860) and Ellender _______ (c1790-c1860)

Benjamin Hutto, Jr. was born about 1784 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, the son of Benjamin Hutto, Sr. of the same county. Benjamin grew up in his father's household, and about 1807 he married Ellender _______, with whom he eventually had some fourteen children. Between 1810 and 1820 Benjamin and Ellender moved from Orangeburg County to Telfair County, Georgia, where they remained until moving by 1840 to neighboring Pulaski County. Neither the date of their deaths nor their place of burial is known, although both had apparently vanished from census records by 1860.
