3. Mary Little (b. 5 Dec. 1810, Franklin Co., GA; d. 30 May 1898, Piedmont, Calhoun Co., Ala.) m. 1835, Franklin Co., GA to John TURK (b. 31 Jan. 1814, Franklin Co., GA; d. 3 April, 1898, Piedmont, Calhoun Co., Ala.); they had: James Little, Sarah Amanda, Nancy L., William Milton.

Children of William Washington Little and Louisa Boles

William Washington Little was a member of A.F.& A.M.; spoke fluently in the language of the Creek Indians. When he was a young man, he went to the Nances Creek Settlement, in Calhoun Co., AL to live with his oldest sister, Sarah Carruthers Little Morgan. He served in the U.S.A. during the war against the Seminole Indians in Florida, and assisted in conducting that tribe to the Indian Territory. He was an ardent supporter of the cause of the Confederacy. He was elected and served as a reprentative in the Alabama Secessionist Legislature, from Cherokee, Alabama, 1861-62 (the Goshen settlement at that time being part of Cherokee County).

William Washington Little (b. 15 Jan. 1813, Homer, Franklin Co., GA; d. 8 Mar. 1875, Piedmont, Calhoun Co., Ala) m. 10 Oct. 1837, Goshen Settlement, Calhoun Co., Ala. to Louisa BOLES, dau. of Richard BOLES and Nancy H. MORGAN (b. 18 June, 1822, Franklin Co., GA); they had: James J., Nancy Emeline, Martha Ann, Alice Amanda, Laura M., Florence Adelia, Horace Linn, Richard Knox, William Worth, Henry Pierce, Loyd Lee .
