Windchimes are so great to have hanging and when I saw this one in a craft magazine, I couldn't resist making it. It's made with two flowerpots (one on top is smaller). Rocks are glued around bottom of lower pot. A small wooden wheel is painted and glued to top. Put small nails around rim and string very fine wire around nails. On top of this is a very tiny flowerpot. |

This is one of my wooden creations. I cut the wood and then went crazy. Check out the pig on the leash in lower right. I think you can tell by looking at this piece most of what was done, so I won't go into detail. |

Sachet/potpourri wallhanging is easy and quick to make. Use a rectangle of heavy cardboard or thin wood plaque; cover with fabric and accent with lace (secure with glue to back) ; place and glue envelope; accessorize with buttons and artificial flowers; attach hanger (I used purchased braid). Instead of purchasing the pricy little sachet envelopes, make your own from wallpaper scraps or border. Use an envelope as a template and find the best area of the wallpaper for front of envelope; glue together leaving top open until you fill with potpourri, then glue top. There are lots of ways to change and personalize-choice of fabric-accessories-choice of envelope. These are great for bathrooms and/or bedrooms. These make great gifts so have fun. I'd love to see pictures of yours. |
