The Collapse of Scientific Ethics came as a silent thief, having it's way with an irreversibly corrupt world. The barrier of moral conscious was stripped from all scientific progress. Genetic engineering brought mythological creatures to life in order to "entertain" both the young and old. Weaponry was designed by the military to bring terror over protection. New innovations in stealth technology were used to spy on the nation's private sectors. In short, the façade of democracy and freedom was implanted while the life of the average citizen became more controlled by the governments of North America.

Some groundbreaking achievements included the following: 

• Various Energy Harnessing and Siphoning devices were growing in popularity. Draining the strength or vitality from selected targets could effect crowd control. Sonic weaponry was being optimized to hit organic targets while leaving structures intact. Hostage situations were being facilitated by brain wave dampeners, tuned to either control the thoughts of the criminal, or to inflict pain. Hologram generators influenced the atmosphere in order to allow easy change from one décor or environment to another at the push of a button. The list goes on including kinetic harnesses, black body units, rejuvenation chambers, force barrier generation, antigravity units, , etc..
• Teleportation advances were on the upswing before the Apocalypse, and several crude units may still be found intact. Large units were being developed in order to allow large parties to travel overseas in an instant, and small personal units were being developed for military infiltration purposes.
• Phase Technology allowed items to become intangible. This was used at first as aids in traffic control, surgery and inspection. The original purpose of the technology was, in fact, as to be a spy utility.
• Stealth Technology was developed for strict military purposes. The first developments to stealth technology were sound dampening field generators. These devices dampened "white noise" by emitting a field of low intensity vibrations, which were inaudible, absorbing all audible phenomenon common to organic sound preceptors. Similar stealth technology was developed for vision. By simultaneously absorbing and bending incident photonic energies (light), an item could be removed from the range of visual perception. In this way invisibility was accomplished in regards to the entire visual spectrum. Advanced models allowed invisibility to the extreme ends of natural vision including the infrared and ultraviolet pockets. The government was busy developing other stealth devices and improving the current editions when the Apocalypse froze their progress forever. The scientists and technicians did not leave this earth, however, without making contributions to the radar and vibrational stealth devices employed by military androids. Giving such stealth power to the androids was one of the biggest contributions to the destruction to human life.
• Enhanced Sensory Units allowed the individual to go beyond the limitations of human sensory experience. All five senses could be amplified, and other latent senses were being discovered such as extrasensory perception, advanced defense warnings and molecular sensing and recognition.
• Artificial Intelligence was a good idea gone haywire. Used at first as a think tank and educational tool, the first AI's had very strict environmental requirements in order to function properly. Rather quickly, however, these boundaries were removed and taken beyond the intended functions. AI's were miniaturized and placed into the artificial human, giving birth to the android.

In response to the countermeasures being perfected from global enemies, the US decided to redeploy the foot soldier as a one-man tank unit. Suits of powered armor were invented and the one-man field unit was born. These suits were packed with protective devices as well as a small arsenal of diverse weaponry, specific for the environmental theater the operative was to assault.

Advanced weaponry such as missiles became small and powerful. This gave rise to gyrojet bullet technology and hand held rocket pistol launchers. Because of the development of such powerful sidearms, force barriers became an urgent necessity to the foot soldier. Personal force shields, force fields and force walls offered protection in many variations.

Strong alloys were developed such as Titer-X (titanium-strontium alloy), Transplate (transparent crystalline alloy) and Umbersteel (dark, reflective alloy). These metals could withstand nuclear assault, and Umbersteel could even absorb the radiation, giving it off as safe light and mild heat in order to clear a safe radius for those whom the metal protected.

It didn't take long for androids to become submerged into every aspect of man's society. They were used as slaves, soldiers and for entertainment. As the competition between rival manufacturers became inevitably fierce, the artificial brain became more and more sophisticated. Artificial brains did surpass the computational skills of humans, but did not allow emotional factors to equate into real life dilemmas.

The androids didn't waste much time in their rebellion. Researchers had initially made precautions for this by setting an "expiration date" on the android's inorganic parts. The average android lasted no more than 10 years. This fail-safe became of utmost importance as the battle of segregation began. Since androids had no emotions, they had no emotional ties with their creators. The extermination of the "weaker" human race was a logical next step for their proliferation and success as a species. The Uprising had begun.

Like wildfire the rebellion ignited and spread world-wide. The entire world become victimized in less than 24 hours. Communications between androids were near instantaneous and housed in their bodies. Humans had to scramble to establish communications. Weapons were wrestled easily from the human's grasp. The androids took major cities without so much as a whimper. In a last ditch effort, nation started blaming nation. The codes could not be traced as to the origin of the Uprising, or even if they rallied under any specific leader. Electronic Counter Measures seemed to stave off the androids for at least a week, but also destroyed any electronic capabilities the humans began to rely upon. The madness was inescapable, nuclear warheads were ultimately the long-range sticks used to handle the venomous snake. Millions of people perished millions of androids perished. The land battles raged on and into the less populated areas. A mass exodus of men fled to the deserts where the mechanical androids dreaded to go; underground bunkers were occupied and researchers scrambled to get designs of more effective weaponry to available engineers. The humans bought more time.

Five years did the war wage, both sides gaining advantage in waves only to be beaten back. The ratio of human to android loss was escalating, more androids could be made in droves by the day. However it wasn't until many of their factories were destroyed that the androids finally figured out the secret of deactivating the expiration code. By that time raw materials were at an all time low.

And so did the two races battle until the humans took to the vast Wastelands to start again, this time more wiser.

As humans fell to the android legions, scientists and engineers were coming up with effective weaponry based on their knowledge of android technology. Many weapons that may be found reflect the weaknesses of the artificial man. Electric guns and rifles come in two types, wattage and voltage amplifiers. Wattage blasters are electric bolt generators literally causing lightning to emanate from the weapon. Voltage blasters emit an invisible and silent cone of high voltage, which wreaks havoc on anything electrical, destroying electric based technology from the inside. Towards the end of the Creation Wars, the androids were outfitting new models with electronic countermeasure technology that provided reasonable protection from such weaponry.

Since androids communicated via radio and ultrasound waves, the humans constructed interpretation units. These units may intercept communications, unscramble the frequency codes and turn them into English (or other language) analogs for the human recipient to understand. Headset models are available as well as palm sized models. These "smart decoders" also act as interpersonal communicators for humans. They exploit the frequency bands being used by local androids and skip around the occupied open channels to assure privacy from android eavesdropping.
