May God watch over us as we look to Him for clarity and unity regarding this great Prophesy that He has left for us. May He guide our thoughts, our words and our conversation and may He grace us by allowing His Holy Spirit to be present with us.
Read Revelations 8:1-5
Reread Rev. 7:1-3. When the Lamb breaks the seventh seal, there is silence in heaven. Comment on this significant event.
Compare verse 3 with Rev. 6:9. Notice that in both verses it speaks of "The Alter", being the same in both verses. What role, if any, do the martyrs of Chapter 6: 9-10 play in God's plan?
After reading Rev. 6:9, proceed with 8:5. The answer to the martyrs has finally arrived, could this happen in one generation? Verse 5 is very significant, remember that the four angels of Rev. 7: 1-3 are holding back the four winds. Will this event be missed by anybody on the earth? Has Christ returned at this point?
Read Revelations 8: 6-12
In verse 6, we see that the angels got ready to blow their trumpets, could this mean such destruction will happen in a tight series of events?
Notice the way destruction comes upon the earth for the first four trumpets, what is the common link?

Given a globe, how can 1/3 of the earth be (naturally) destroyed in this manner?
Which part(s) of the Earth could be a likely target? Think about the nations who (Biblically and traditionally) oppose God and His People (refer to Rev. chapter 7). See also Rev. 3: 9.

Why do you suppose an eagle was chosen to carry this message?
Does it's warning EXCLUDE anybody who lives on the earth?
