Part Three: A Vision of Worship in Heaven
FBFC Men’s Thursday Night Bible Study

May God watch over us as we look to Him for clarity and unity regarding this great Prophesy that He has left for us. May He guide our thoughts, our words and our conversation and may He grace us by allowing His Holy Spirit to be present with us.
Reread Rev. 3: 7b-8a then read Revelations Chapter Four, which reveals an instance of Worship in Heaven (Rev. 4: 1-11)
Consider the following statements and then answer the questions:
Verse 1: Why is the symbol of a door significant? Who is leading the way? How do we know? Consider the last sentence in verse 1, why is the word "next" significant? "Next" compared to what?
Verse 2: What can we say about why the Spirit "took control". What would have happened if John were left to his own senses and understandings? What was the first and most dominant feature about Heaven that John saw?
Verse 3: What are some of the descriptions used for the "One sitting on the Throne"? What surrounded the Throne? Why is the rainbow significant?
Compare Gen. 9:14-16, Ezek. 1:28
Verse 4: Notice that there are twenty-four thrones, how are they arranged? What is significant in how the elders are described?
Verse 5: What is coming out of the center Throne? What can we compare this to that we've seen so far (see Rev. 1:15.b)? What is in front of the Throne? Why could this position be important?
Verses 6-8: What else is in front of the Throne? What description is given?
The Worship Of The Four Living Creatures: What do they have in common? How are they different? What is their purpose? Notice their worship, what is emphasized?
Verse 7: What is significant about:
Verse 9: Do the Living Creatures do anything besides that which was stated in Verse 6? How long are they to do their duty?
The Worship Of The Twenty-Four Elders
Verse 10: Are the Elders who sit on the twenty-four thrones equal to the One who sits in the center? What do the Elders do that we should model?
Verse 11: Notice the Elder's worship, what is emphasized?
To Whom does the Worship in Heaven belong to?
