GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This campaign will take the PCs on wild quest that will unfold as the story progresses. Taking form over the course of many adventures, the PCs will roam the dark reaches of what remains of America (now called Newmerica). From the Hardlands to the radioactive slagpiles of once great cities, from one polluted ocean to the other, the PCs will travel in quest to secure the future of what remains of mankind. Driven by this purpose, they will be subjected to nightmarish creatures, harsh environments and pushed to the brink of insanity all for the sake of adventure.

 

IMPORTANCE OF THE PC's:

The PCs may eventually become extremely important. They will have a chance to be the premier heroes of a shattered civilization. They will start out as unremarkable individuals who will have a hard time getting any notice and especially any respect. Ideally they will have a chance to work their way up to a legendary status. Other individuals exist with abilities that rival, and even surpass, those of the PCs - but the PCs can eventually become the heroes of the land. As the PCs gain experience, they will also gain renown, for better and worse, and their exploits may become the basis of stories told throughout the Wastelands.
