Mrs. Mathilda Peltier, in 85th year, passed away on Friday morning, Dec. 9, at the home of her son Harvey Peltier in St. Paul. She is survived by Joseph, and George N., both of California, Medore of Canada, Thomas of Winonia, Harvey and Laura of St. Paul, Mrs. W.P. Brodrick of Webster, and Mrs. John Bernier of White Bear Lake. Funeral services were held at St. John Baptist Church at Hugo on Monday, Dec. 12. Interment in cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.

Sarah was the sister of Theotiste Corniea(Cournoyer) wife of Ludvico Forcier who were the parents of Felix Phillip Forcier. Felix's wife, Anna Hanson died when her son, Joseph Felix Forcier was about 2 years of age. His great aunt seeing the need of a 'mother' decided with Felix Phillips consent to take Joseph into her home and raise him.
