Warrenville Community Guide
Community Overview
Warrenville is a town of about 12, 000 30 miles west of downtown Chicago. It is primarily residential and surrounded by forest preserves. Most development is along Illinois Rt. 59. Two public schools are located within its borders and most public school students attend District 200 schools. (See below for details on schools).
Transportation needs are served by area highways ((Eisenhower Expwy. - I-290, Tri-State (I-294), North/South Tollway (I-355), East-West Tollway (I-88)) and major local roads (Rte. 38 - Roosevelt Rd., Routes 64, 56, 53, and 83). Commuter service to downtown is provided by Metra. Travel time to the downtown Chicago station is about 40 minutes. Local bus service is available from PACE. The RTA Travel Info.
