Medinah, with a population of about 2,500, is an unincorporated area located between Roselle and Bloomingdale, 20 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. It is almost exclusively residential, with abundant wooded areas and forest preserves. District 11 serves the town's elementary school-age population, while high school age students attend Lake Park High School in Roselle (details on schools below).
