LaGrange Park is a village of about 3500 14 miles west of downtown Chicago. While primarily residential it has a shopping district. Recreational opportunities include the Park District's programs. Grade-school-aged children attend district 95 and 102 schools. Secondary students go to Lyons Township High Schools, district 204 or to Riverside-Brookfield High School, district 208.(See below for details on schools).

Transportation needs are served by area highways (I-55/Stevenson Expwy., I-294/Tri-state Tollway), and major local roads (Mannheim Rd., Ogden Ave.).
