Glen Ellyn is a primarily residential community of about 25,000 located 23 miles west of Chicago, which borders the suburbs of Wheaton, Lombard, Glendale Heights and Lisle. 14 public and 2 private schools serve the area, along with the Technology Center of DuPage in nearby Addison. A variety of small retail stores are located in the downtown area, and businesses/offices along Roosevelt Road include a Jewel/Osco Grocery/Drugstore, Dominicks Supermarket, Holiday Inn, and the Roosevelt Glen Corporate Center. The Health Track Recreation Complex is also located along Roosevelt Road. Four community hospitals serve the area, along with Glen Ellyn Clinic.
