Forest Park is a village of about 15,000 10 miles west of downtown Chicago. The town has a mix of residential, business, and commercial/retail development, including Hillside Mall. Recreational opportunities include Park District programs. Grade school-aged children attend district 91 schools, while secondary students go to Proviso East in district 209.
