Bensenville Community Guide
Community Overview
Bensenville, a town of about 18,000 20 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, has facilities of major corporations such as Deluxe Check Printers and Sunstar located here. Residential construction and renovation is ongoing. The town has a variety of recreational facilities, including a 50,000 square foot Leisure Center and a water park. Six public schools, from Kindergarten through High School (Fenton High, District 100; and District 2 schools), are located within Bensenville's borders. (See below for details on schools).
Transportation needs are served by area highways ((Eisenhower Expwy. - I-290, Tri-State (I-294), North/South Tollway (I-355), East-West Tollway (I-88)) and major local roads (Rte. 19 - Irving Park Rd., Route 83).
