Subject: Epitaph Puzzle Date: Wed, 26 Nov 1997 11:30:43 -0700 -clip- Anyway, here is my sollution: The six which are buried are: 2 men, their 2 mothers, and their 2 daughters. Each of the two men marry the other man's mother (you can assume these women are divorced or widowed). The 2 couples each have a daughter who remains unmarried. Each woman is a grandmother to the other couple's daughter, a mother to their own sons, and a wife to their husbands. Each man is a husband to their wife, a son to their own mother, a father to their own daughter, and a brother to the other couple's daughter (to be exact, they would be half-brothers/sisters). Each of the daughters is granddaughter, a daughter, a sister, and a maiden. Because each man married the other's mother, there are no "improper" relationships. Jim
The first solution.
