Menu planning is the next on our list of things to do.
Staying with your Theme of a Tea Party.

When making out your Menu remember the ages of
the Children, and number of children that will be at the
party.
Make your list of items you will need to prepare your menu. Remember some of the food can be prepare and
frozen ahead of time.
Order your cake ahead of time if you are not making
it yourself. If you are having the Food Catered check
and confirm all orders ahead of time and let the
Caterer know how many will be attending.
On your table instead of plain trays you might use tier trays. This will also serve as a added decoration
to your table.
To make you own tea sandwiches purchase different
color breads. Remove the outer crust and cut into
nice size squares. In choosing the filling for the
sandwiches is a good idea to be sure it is something
Children will enjoy eating. Here are a few ideas you
can use that most Children will eat. Peanut Butter
and Jelly,Bologna and Cheese,Turkey or Ham,
Cucumber and Cream Cheese, Eggs or Tuna Salad
Sandwiches. You might want to add a Vegetable
Tray filled with Carrots and Celery Strips with a
Vegetable Dip. Along with this you could include a
Snack Tray with Pretzels,Chips,Popcorn,Chex-Mix,
Chucks of Cheese and Crackers.
