This indenture made the twelfth day of October, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five, between William Warrick, Sr. of the County of Bath of the one part and Andrew Warrick of the County aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said William Warrick for and in consideration of the sum of fifty pounds current money of Virginia to him in hand paid, doth bargain and sell unto the said Andrew Warrick on certain tract or parcel of land in the said County of Bath on Deer Creek a branch of Greenbrier River & being part of a tract of nine hundred acres granted to said William Warrick, Sr. by patent dated the thirteenth day of May, one thousand seven hundred and eighty three, containing two hundred and forty five acres and bounded as followeth.
To Wit: Beginning at four white oaks, foot of a hill, North twenty seven, East forty two poles to two small pines, North seventeen, East twenty poles to two white oaks, North five degrees, East thirty four poles to a pine, North seventeen, West two hundred and twenty poles, crossing North fork of said Creek to two white oaks at the foot of the Mountain, thence South fifty five degrees, West twenty poles to a white oak, South nine degrees, East one hundred poles to a large pine, South fifty degrees, East one hundred poles to a pine saplin, South two hundred an thirty six poles to the the Beginning. Together with all its appurtenances to have and to hold to the said Andrew Warrick, his heirs and assigns, to the sole use and behoof of him the said Andrew Warrick and his heirs and assigns forever and the said William Warrick for himself and his heirs doth covenant with the said Andrew Warrick & his heirs, that the said William Warrick, Sr. and his heirs, the said parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Andrew Warrick and his heirs against all persons whatsoever will forever warrant and defend.
In Witness whereof the said William Warrick, Senior hath hereunto subscribed his name and affixed his seal the Day and Year above written.
