I may be wrong and on the wrong line. I did a search of KY for WilliamM. Edwards and found one living in Barren Co. KY. The gravestone at theCemetary on Quincy Street, Pittsburg, KS shows his wife being
Martha F.. Looking at the Barren Co. KY census, 1850, I found a childliving not to far from William M. Edwards. Her name was Martha F.Allen. I'm only assuming at this point that William M. Edwards marriedthis Martha F. Allen at a later Date. I have to make a trip to BarrenCo. KY to search for the marriage record to confirm all of this. At thisdate, July 26, 2000, I have not yet made that trip.
1870 census shows Mary L. Edwards as 10 years old.
This being a transcribed census, mistakes can be common. Will need tocheck out another
census or document to verify her age. The transcribed census showsLucinda's middle initial
as T. when it should be F., so the age could be wrong as well, otherwiseLuncinda would have
been 57 years old when Mary L. Edwards was born.
