2. JACOB4 BRUMBAUGH (WILLIAM3, JACOB2, JOHANNES HENRICH1 BRUMBACH) was born June 23, 1795 in Morrison's Cove, Cumberland Co., Bedford, PA, and died May 1881 in Union, Montgomery Co., Ohio. He married (ANNA) CATHERINE WAGAMAN, daughter of CHRISTIAN WAGAMAN and MARGARET KOVER/COOPER.

Jacob Brumbaugh, b June 23, 1795 in Cumberland Co, PA; moved to Montgomery Co., Ohio about 1806, and was one of the pioneers of that section. He was a farmer, 5 ft, 8 in. high, weighed about 175 lbs., had black hair and was quite strong and rugged; and "all around mechanic", he was a good carpenter, blacksmith, shoemaker and tailor, an indispensable pioneer of great usefulness. He was a man of strong religious convictions; the family were active members of GBB Ch, highest integrity, and he was successful in attaining a competency for himself and family; Whig and Repn. 4. ALBERT JESSE6 BRUMBAUGH (DAVID J.5, JACOB4, WILLIAM3, JACOB2, JOHANNES HENRICH1 BRUMBACH) was born August 6, 1860 in Goshen, Elkhart, IN, and died April 8, 1957 in St. Jo, Montague Co., TX. He married FRESSIE JANE (JENNIE) WAGY August 6, 1889 in Wichita, KS, daughter of HENRY WAGY and MARY STONE.

5. THEODORE E.6 BRUMBAUGH (DAVID J.5, JACOB4, WILLIAM3, JACOB2, JOHANNES HENRICH1 BRUMBACH) was born November 21, 1863 in Goshen, Elkhart, IN, and died July 15, 1915 in Omaha, NE. He married MINNIE J. MEANS.

"Mr Brumbaugh was born at Young America, Cass County, Indiana, November 13, 1888, and is a son of Theodore E. and Minnie J. (McMeans) Brumbaugh. Theodore E. Brumbaugh was a scion of sterling old Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry, and he became one of the substantial and highly esteemed citizens of Cass County, Indiana, he having been born about fifty-two years of age at the time of his death and his widow being now a resident of Omaha. Mrs. Brumbaugh was born in Indiana and is of Scotch and English lineage. (Nebraska: The Land and the People, Vol. 2)

"Theodore E. Brumbaugh was born in Goshen, Indiana November 21, 1863, and in his native state he was for many years engaged in saw-mill operations and other lumbering enterprise. He finally became a traveling salesman for the great National Cash Register Company of Dayton, Ohio, and he was a resident of Omaha at the time of his death, which occurred July 15, 1915. (Nebraska: The Land and the People. Vol 2.)
