His body's now twisted

He lives in great pain

But it wasn't always so

What memories I have

Of this wonderful man

From many years ago.

He was handsome and young

When his sweetheart he wed

Life's journey to begin

They weathered each storm

Holding on through it all

Love triumphed again and again.

He worked hard all his days

Made honesty his creed

This man of integrity

His Lord he did love

And serve and rely on

An example for all to see.

His life has been blessed

With family and friends

Who love and honor him so

He's a blessing to all

Who know and admire him

Dad, I love you more than you know.
