One day in Joon, Meowmie started packin her sootcase an sed, "I'm goin to a clowder in Catnada!  In Victoria!  On Vancouver Island! I'm gonna see Auntie Melinda -- dat's Spike's meowmie! -- an Unka John, an haf brekfast wif da greenhowse cats Tom an Dick, an maybe meet Marble an Harry an Yarrow!  An I'm gonna see Auntie Diane an meet Island Ember!  An dere'll be lotza uther aunties an unkas there.  I'll tell 'em yew sed hihihi!"  An wif that, she left da howse an went to git onna boat.  Cuz yew gotta take a boat to git to Victoria.

Da boat meowmie went on wuz called da Princess Marguerite III, an it wuz a bigbig boat wif restaurants an gift shops an lotza places to sit inna In or inna Out (onna deck) an watch da oshun an sky an da islands in Puget Sound go by.  Here's a pikchur of da boat inna dock in Seattle.  Anna pikchur lookin back at Seattle as da boat leaves for Victoria.
 

Da boat sailed an sailed an sailed.  It was dark an clowdy when it left Seattle, an den it went throo a really dark black clowdy place an it rained, an den da sun camed out an pretty soon there was Vancouver Island.  Here's a tugboat dat came out to help da Princess Marguerite III git into da dock at Victoria. When meowmie got offa boat, she went throo customs (cuz Victoria is in Catnada which is a forreign cuntree), an when she got throo custums, she saw Auntie Melinda an Unka John waiting for her:

First they took her to her Bed-n-Brekfist so she could chek in an have a place to sleep at nite (Aunti Micki was staying dere too), an den they all went to da Bengal Lounge atta Empress Hotel.  Alla other clowderers were already in Victoria, an they were waiting atta Bengal Lounge where dey all had drinks.  Dey'd been dere before, so da waiters knew all about dis groop!  Meowmie had froofroo drinks wif fancy names an froot inna glass, an efurrywun hadda gudgud time.  Here's sum pikchurs uv da clowderers atta Bengal Lounge -- onna left are Aunties micki an Mary an Unka John lukkin at pikchurs in his digital camera, an onna rite is Aunti Diane (Ember's meowmie).
 
 

An here's meowmie wif Auntie KimB an herbob -- da pikchur onna rite iz Aunties Rozemary an KimB an micki an Mary.  Da lite wuzn't dat gud, an da dumscanner haz made efurryfing all fuzzy an darker.  But yew can see dat dey all haf glasses uv wine an drinks in dere hands, an dey're all hafin a gudgud time.
 

After havin lotza gudgud drinks, dey all went to dinner, an den Meowmie an aunti micki an Auntie KimB an herbob went to vizit Auntie Diane an Island Ember, who live just around da corner (reely!!) frum da Bed-n-Brekfist where Meowmie an Auntie Micki were staying.  An Ember wuz furry sociable an entertained his guests by letting dem give him scritches an sitting on his cattree an by playing catch-da-poof-ball wif his claws.  Meowmie tuk dis pikchur uv Auntie Diane scritching Ember, an den she ranned outta film.  Dum Meowmie.

After playing wif Ember, efurrywun went home to sleep, so dey could get up early da next morning an haf Brekfast wif Tom an Dick.

Da next morning alla clowderers met at da Royal Roads Unifursity, which is where Unka John takes care uv da gardens, an where da Greenhouse Cats, Tom an Dick, lif inna greenhouse.  Dere bruvver Harry lives wif Auntie Melinda an Unka John, but Tom an Dick help take care uv da greenhouse an da gardens an efurry morning dey git brekfast an go onna walk throo da gardens.  An da clowderers got to join dem as a speshul treet (fur da clowderers, uv course).  Here's Tom an Dick having brekfast:

Da gardens at Royal Roads are furry furry pritty -- dere's da roze garden an dere'z mixed borders an dere's foresty kinda gardens an dere's a Japanese garden.  Here's da Japanese garden wif a reflecting pool. See how yew can see efurryfing reflected upsidedown inna pool?  It wuz furry peaceful an beeyoutiful.

After having brekfast anna walk wif Tom an Dick, alla clowderers went back to da Castle, which is da main building uv da Unifursity, an dey had dere own brekfast.  It wuz catered speshully fur dem, an dey ate inna big dining room wif wood paneling onna walls an a view uv da lawn sweeping down to da oshun an dey didn't even haf to pour dere own coffee cuz dere wuz a waiter dere to do it all fur dem.  It wuz a gudgud brekfast an dey ate lotz an lotz.

After brekfast, Unka John took dem on a tour uv da Castle -- dere was a Italian garden which wuz furry formal, an dere was a museum wif pikchurs an history uv da site, an dere was a white peacock who waved his fevvers an screeched an purraded around.  Here iz a pikchur dat Unka John took uv da clowderers sitting in front uv da Castle.  (Dere are sum tents dere becuz dere wuz gonna be a wedding dere later dat day.)  It'z a pritty fancy castle we fink.  Tom an Dick haf some pritty fancy digs.

After brekfast an da castle tour, efurrybody went to see a litehowse onna oshun.  Dey scrambled ofur da rocks an watched kayakers practissing falling ofur inna coldcold water, an looked wayway out to sea.  An den some of da clowderers went back to town an went shopping, an Auntie Melinda went home to start gitting ready fur da barbecue dat afternoon, an our meowmie went back to her B&B an taked a nap.

An den it wuz time fur da barbecue.  Dere was baked sammun an steamed crabs an corn onna cob an caesar sallid an garlick bred an lotz an lotz an lotz to eet.  Afterwards dere were fancy pastries an choklits too.  An meowmie didn't bring us a single leftofur bite!  She's meen!

Meowmie hoped she'd meet da Victoria kitties at da clowder, but Yarrow wuz tootoo scared of alla strange hoomins an nefur showed even a whisker outta her secret hideyhole.  Harry (dat's Tom an Dick's bruvver) wuz a liddle shy, too, an he only camed out for a minnit when Auntie Melinda played wif Mr. Snake.  Meowmie got some pikchurs but she couldn't git close enuff an instead of Harry (who is a lovely tabby cat), all yew can see is a liddle dark blob, so we didn't even try to put doze pikchurs here.  However, Marble wuz happy to meet alla clowderers, an he came out inna back yard an sprawled out inna front room an was furry friendly.  Here's some pikchurs uv Marble:
 

After da barbecue alla clowderers watched Auntie Melinda's clowder tape an saw moovies of da Boston Clowder an of da Jessie Memorial Cat Complex in Oregon an of Harry when he was a babycat an lotz more hoomins an kitties.  Auntie Melinda an Unka John made speshul "Brekfast wif Tom an Dick" t-shirt transfers for alla clowderers to put on dere own t-shirts when dey got home, an Aunti Mary brot liddle tins of choklit wif kitties onna lid for efurrywun, an Aunti Rozemary made shur dat alla aunties had a speshul Victoria Martha Mewart t-shirt, an here's dere pikchur:

So after da barbecue an da moovies an da talkin an efurryfing, alla clowderers went back to dere hotels an partments an howses an went to sleep.  An da next morning efurryone left Victoria an went home (cept da clowderers who live in Victoria cuz dey were home!).  Meowmie an Auntie KimB an herbob an auntie micki all went back to Seattle onna Princess Marguerite (da Princess Maggie, Auntie Melinda calls it).  Dey had to git up reel reel early, an den it wuz reely foggy so dey didn't see much except da gray water an da gray sky an da gray fog.  But dey were so sleepy after all dat clowderin an gittin up so early, dey didn't mind.

When dey got to Seattle, Auntie KimB an herbob gave Meowmie a ride home to our howse before dey all went to catch planes home.  An Meowmie brot me out to meet dem (auntie micki wuz dere too).  Skye hided, but here's me, Talisker Pippin, in Meowmie's arms in front of ourhowse.

An den Auntie KimB an Unka herbob an auntie micki left fur da airport an Meowmie took me back inna In, an dat wuz da end uv da Victoria Castle Clowder.  Meowmie sed she had a gudgud time an wants to ride da boat back to Victoria an stay at Heathergate B&B an go shopping an see da sites she didn't haf time to see.  Well, just as long as she leaves enuff catfud, an gives us treets when she comes back.
