Monty didn't really haf any more advenchurs while he wuz in Mew York.  He stayed inna hotel and sleeped and luked out da windows.

But his hoomins went all ofur, seeing as many sites as they could see.  As it turned out, it was gray an foggy an rainy an windy the whole time they were there, so they didn't see quite as many sites as they had wanted -- when they went up to da Empire State Building, fur example, they were told they could go up onna top, but da vizibility wuz ZERO, an they could luk at fog up high, which wasn't much diffrint from da fog down low.  But they still saw lotza sites.

They went to a Mew York Philharmonik concert at Lincoln Center.

They went to da Metropolitan Mewzeum uv Art (though they didn't stay furry long, cuz it wuz late an about to cloze).
 
 

They went to da Guggenheim Mewzeum an walked round an round an round down da ramps.

They eeted dinner at da Carnegie Deli an had bigbig sammiches.  (An they brought their sammiches back to da hotel cuz they cudn't eet dem all, an then Monty's hoomin asked da concierge if anyone knew where he could get a cooler to put ice in, an da concierge sed, "Did yew ask for a refrigerator?" (Dat's what we kitties call a coldbox.)  An when Unka Gary said, "No," da concierge sed "HeLLO!"  An dey sended a liddle coldbox up to da room fur dem!  Unka Gary sed dat he'd asked hotels for another pillow or noo tisshyews, but he'd nefur sent out fur a major appliance before!
 
 

An on Sunday dey went to church at da Cathedral uv Saint John da Divine (which has animal blessing services like da one where Tally got blesst, only bigger, but not dis Sunday).

 

An dey went an lukked at da Riverside Church.

 

An Grant's Tomb.

  

An Rockefeller Center.

An Macys store.

An dey had dinner atta top uv da Werld Trade Center at a restaurant called Windows Onna Werld.  It wuz onna 107th floor (outta 110), an dere was a great view uv da city, except it wuz all foggy dere too.  But Unka Gary sed dat as dey eeted dinner, da fog began liddle by liddle to lift an dey cud see more an more uv da city, wif da fog floating around.  He sed it wuz like Brigadoon, a magic town risin outta da fog.

An Unka Gary tried to git tikkits to da David Letterman show, but he couldn't.  An one nite dey went to see if dey could git tikkits to Saturday Nite Live, but dey couldn't.
 
 

An dey went on a boat ride called da Circle Line, an rided all around da whole island uv Manhattan.

Dey saw Ellis Island.  An da United Nashuns.  An da Statue uv Liberty.

Dey went to da theater an saw a play called Rent.

 

An den dey went back to da hotel an ofur to Central Park an rided inna carriage around Central Park.  At midnight.

An dat wuz dere last night in Mew York.

Da next morning dey hadda catch da plane back home.  Dere wuz a mix-up wif da Pet Taxi people (who were reely da Pawmobile people, cuz Pet Taxi sub-let some uv da jobs) -- actually, Roger da Pawmobile driver, had tried to call an confirm dere departure time, but da dum hotel people kept telling him dat Monty an Unka Gary an efurryone had checked out.  So Roger anna Pawmobile didn't show up.  Dey hadda git dere own taxi to da airport instead.  But dey got one, an dey got dere on time dis time.  An da plane flied to Denfur.  An dey caught da plane home, but dis plane wuz broked too, just like da plane going to Mew York.  Only dis time da plane's aileron (dat's part uv da wing) wuz broked.  But finally dey got it fixed anna plane left an flied home.  An so Monty, an Gary his Hoomin, an Laura, Gary's winkwink, an Gary's meowmie all camed home.

An dey were all furry tired frum alla excitement in Mew York, so dey all went fast to sleep.

(Even tho he didn't win da BIG prize, after he got home Monty's hometown noozepaper had a story written all bout his trip to Mew York!  Our cuzzin Monty iz gonna be famuss, yew just wait!)
